I perceive the difficulties of parenthood are various. From attempting to explore his dozing examples to attempting to show him how to talk and peruse, parenthood is an everyday work. In truth, there those extraordinary and inspiring minutes; like when he ventured out, the first occasion when he said mom. However, the one thing we center around as guardians is progress. What Is Children Learning Reading?

Children Learning Reading review

The Children Learning Reading Program was designed and created by Jim and Elena  to teach their own children how to read before the age of 3.

The program is a comprehensive system which includes a step by step process that guides children to learn how to read. It uses phonemic and phonics concepts which focuses on the developmental phonemic awareness of the child to expand their reading ability.

Phonemic awareness helps children learn how to interpret and read written and printed text rapidly. Strikingly, it’s a program for guardians with children that are between the ages of 2 and 6. The fact that it’s straightforward, simple easy to follow and broken down into steps, makes it incredibly powerful.

What To Expect Inside Children Learning Reading?

The materials you get with the Children Learning Reading program are incredibly comprehensive. It took me a long time to go through them all and figure out how they were laid out and what I needed to do to get started.

It comes with four video lessons, which were the most helpful to seeing the program in action and figuring out what part I needed to play.

The design of the program includes 2 stages. Stage 1 is a much lot more straightforward version compared to stage 2, each developed to complement the other. Stage 1 contains 28 exercises while stage 2 contains 22, which collectively adds up to 50 lessons.

Stage 1:- which is spread out into 28 exercises, is organized in such a way that helps build the essential establishments of reading. In particular, reading abilities for example, the alphabet and sounds are often part of the introductory material on stage 1. As the lessons progress, the child should be able to smoothly transition into learning more complicated words, sentences and rhymes just to mention a few.

Stage 2:- expands on top of the recently acquired reading abilities developed during stage 1. Spread out into 22 completely comprehensively developed exercises, stage 2 works on introducing letter combinations. It also features a number of further progressed rhymes, words and letters.

More or less, both 2 stages put together, the program attempts to start at the very basic part of reading. From there, it helps improve your child’s reading skills from learning all their letters, to simply pronouncing words properly, followed by sentences and rhymes.

Also included are lesson stories, games, common sight words, worksheets on letter sounds, favorite rhymes, and so much more. The trial materials are enough to get your child to a place where they are reading on their own without subscribing to the full program.

I want to point out that if your child can’t talk yet, this program may not be as successful as it is designed to be. Hence, before you start teaching your child how to read by using this program, you need to make sure that your child can at least speak first.

How Will Your Child Benefit From The Children Learning Reading Program?

The basic principle that inspired both Jim and Elena to build up this program is to viably target the kid’s developmental stage. During this stage, you can help the child’s brain into proper development as well as arm them with improved phonetic skills.

Moreover, according to numerous studies, ensuring that your child develops learning skills early will help your child grow in self-confidence. They are also far more likely to boast of improved attention spans and higher concentration levels. In light of this in mind, the kid will be able to have early success in their academics and enjoy learning and developing new skills as well.

Having your kid develop their reading abilities early will also impact their future social abilities as well. Equipped with the self- confidence that comes from academic success, they’ll be able to navigate their social life effectively. Fundamentally, the program targets five main areas that are crucial to a child’s early development: neurological, psychological, linguistic, social and educational.

What Is The Best Thing About Children Learning Reading?

As seen above, developing learning abilities sets the foundation for a effective future. Be that as it may, a few things about the program stand out. For example, the program is well organized and straightforward enough for kids to work with. Each lesson is at least 10 to 15 min long, which accommodates the short attention span that toddlers usually have.

The short exercises take advantage of the time when the kid is most attentive. This way, the kid is able to absorb new skills without having to feel forced or get exhausted. Also, the short time period for each lesson makes it fun for the kid.

I’ve seen the same with my child. He doesn’t get tired or lose interest as long as we stick to the one to fifteen min session provided by the program itself for each lesson.

Another factor that makes this program recommendable, is that it does not encourage memorization. Where most educational systems encourage and stress on memorizing important facts, this program stresses more on understanding facts. This factor alone ensures that your child is less likely to forget their newly developed learning abilities, instead; increasing fluency and reading ability.

Once your kid is on a roll, you won’t want them to stop reading, and they won’t want to quit either. Consider how and when you want your kid learning. If you’re not a fan of your kid having access to a mobile device, then some of the mobile programs won’t be right for you.

You might want to pick instead a program that comes with hard materials and physical books. Worksheets, flashcards, and other materials that they can hold in their hands may get them more excited and urge them to continue.

It may also depend on how your kid learns. If your kid would rather read a book and they like the idea of getting new things to reward them for their progress, then a program that comes with physical materials is better as well.

While a mobile device is easy to take along with you wherever you go, physical books are portable as well, and fun for your kid to show off to friends and relatives wherever they go.

Advantages Of Children Learning Reading

  1. Simple to follow and simply organized to accommodate a kid’s learning ability. The developers and designers of the Children Learning Reading .Program left nothing to chance. By including Phonics and phenomes, children are able to learn pronunciation and alphabetical sounds quickly. Obviously, they also work together in helping the kid to put together letters to form words as well.
  2. The lessons are viable and short which effectively targets a kid’s limited attention span. Jimmy, one of the developers of the program, has obviously used it on his kid and has seen tremendous results. Of course, using the same program on my 2 ½-year-old child has helped reap the same amazing results.
  3. Uses phonemes and phonics to help improve the child’s learning ability and increase his/ her reading fluency
  4. Extremely affordable. With all the stages in mind, including the video lessons, PDF and Audiobooks, it all totals to below $100.  Considering the value both the parents and child garners from such a program, the overall cost of the program is a bargain.
  5. The kid’s should be able to develop the skills in record time
  6. Designed to ensure guarantee the kids undertaking the program enjoy and look forward to it on a daily basis
  7. The program takes a more traditional approach which encourages parent- to- child interaction. This will help improve the bond between the child and the parent.

Drawbacks Of Children Learning Reading

  1. As previously mentioned, the program adopts the traditional approach, which requires both the contribution of both the parent and child. This may not work for occupied guardians that are juggling a lot of responsibilities.
  2. The program can only be accessed through the web. This limits access to those that cannot access the online platform. They do, however; have some actual books to their program.
  3. The program must be utilized on children that can speak. If your child cannot speak yet, then the program may not be suitable for the child just yet.
  4. Results tend to differ. kids tend to be different, and as you’ve obviously witnessed from your own group of kids, no one kid is the same. Some tend to demonstrate faster learning abilities, while others are a little slower. This means, that the results of this program highly depends on your kid’s learning ability.

Things To Consider Before Buying A Reading Program

All kid’s are different, and their learning abilities differ, too. While learning to read is necessary, it can be overwhelming for you both. Upper and lower case letters, recognition, the sounds they make, and how they fit together can be confusing. Not to mention, some letters make more than one sound!

And that’s not even considering learning disabilities like dyslexia. For children with other difficulties, it can be even harder to overcome the challenges. It’s also hard on you to watch your child struggle, and can be very frustrating to have the patience you need.

That’s why you should make some careful considerations before choosing which program to buy.

Children Learning Reading is a great option for parents who want to be involved in their child’s reading journey. It comes with a comprehensive set of materials to help your child learn to read.

It’s geared toward very young children and could have your child reading by age 3. If you have the time and the dedication for it, more than 60 short lessons will guide your child through letter sounds and phonics to help them learn to read the most effective way.

The trial and the one time fee are worth every penny if you need something that you can do with your child rather than a more independent, self-guided solution. It’s interactive and a great way to spend time together.
